About Lindsay Klein

I’m a professional DJ as well as a rock radio DJ weeknights from 7pm-12am on WDHA 105.5FM.   In addition to my radio show, I work with the local original music scene.  I spin one song a night to showcase the different bands I support, and have created a blog on our radio station’s website with live performances and interviews http://www.wdhafm.com/Blog/homegrown/home.aspx.   I also teach/practice yoga, am a cross fitter, a huge health/fitness nut, and lover of road trips, being a super aunt, red wine, my husband, son, family, striking yoga poses in all of my travels, and the crisp sound of vinyl.

viI was taught at a very young age to always chase after my dreams, and I continue to do so on a daily basis. I chased my dream of being a DJ, yogi, yoga instructor, and even falling in love. I believe the key to achieving any goal in life, is to open your heart, and execute the three P’s: Patience, Persistence, and Passion.

I spent most of my childhood/adulthood as a professional and trained dancer, but it wasn’t until yoga entered my life, that I finally felt whole.  I’ve heard that “yoga finds you”, and I couldn’t agree more.  My mentor once told me that when I became a teacher, I’d feel the same way after teaching a class, as I do on my mat when I practice.  She was 100% right. Teaching yoga has been one of the hardest challenges I have ever had, but it’s also been the most rewarding, and the gift that keeps on giving. ….

I decided to write this blog to share my stories and experiences in yoga, music, food, health, fitness, marriage, motherhood, and overall, learning how to “rock your entire life”.

 

In 2016, I became a first time mother to my son who was born two months premature with no warning sign, or reason to this date!  My son inspires me, and challenges me on a daily basis, being the strongest person I know, and has come a VERY long way since birth.  You may find many of my blog posts about being a mother these days!

It may feel difficult at times to juggle everything thrown your way.  I find that juggling my life between being a mom, wife, full time DJ, part-time yoga instructor, and more can be insanely challenging.  Although, as much it may be difficult at times, it’s way more rewarding, and my heart is more full then I ever could’ve imagined.  My goal with this website, is to share positivity, and help others find balance. Inspired to inspire……Namaste and rock n roll!
