A summer wind…

The summer wind came blowin’ in from across the sea

wake2It lingered there, to touch your hair and walk with me…

hikeAll summer long we sang a song and then we strolled that golden sand…

yogaTwo sweethearts and the summer wind….

djToday I truly felt the shift into the seasons.  My mother and sister have always said that there’s a moment in time when you realize that it’s summer.  The summer wind blew in my direction today, and I’m ready for you summer!!  I’m ready for change, not just in the seasons.

Change, change is good.  There was taking our nephew to see Monster Jam for his first time, since he was finally old enough to not only enjoy it, but get his photo on the big screen at MetLife Stadium…

People are changing, bonds are growing……

……..all into the summer wind.  I’m about to ride the wave into a season of  change!  I’m facing my own personal battles that I promise to share more about as time goes on, but for now, just know that I’m more then ready to take them on…..Let’s do this summer!  Eat cake!

sophiacakeDon’t just ease into your summer, dive in baby, make it grand!

It definitely is finally feeling like summer here, too and my oldest also turns 6 next weekend, as well. Seriously cannot believe it myself, but still here is to tons of celebrating and all goods things to come this summer now. And loved the Frank Sinatra homage – as The Summer Wind is one of my favorites by him still 😉 xoxo

I love that you shared some of the lyrics to one of my favorite summertime songs, “Summer Wind” Lindsay, and the Frank Sinatra version is my very favorite one. Your photos and your writing about the changes that have happened, and the changes that are to come, and all of the ever growing family bonds will give you much to look forward to. They will make great memories to last a lifetime of seasons.

    Yes, to summer.
    Yes, to change.
Embrace both. I can see you do.
You look so great with your nieces and nephews. I hope you will be having your own soon. Enjoy the day at the Bowmans!

AW the photos!! So cute. I had that summer moment this week – with the kids at summer camp and having lunch dates with friends and turning on the a/c and having lemonade.
    All good things!
    See ya soon!

You have so many summer celebrations in your family! I’m feeling the summer now that we are back from vacation and fully in the relaxed mode. Enjoying it while we can…it goes by so fast!
